More Swimming Lessons

Grace took swimming lessons back in March and we decided that Owen needed some lessons too, so after a month break for Grace we enrolled both of them, Grace in her Tots class and Danny and Owen in the Parent/Baby class.

Grace was so happy to have her little brother at the pool with her.

It was so cute when they were in the pool and could see and recognize each other. I heard Grace tell her teacher with such pride “that is my little brother, his name is Owen!”

In the first lesson Owen was already more “risky” than Grace. Owen just jumps off (well falls off) the side into Danny’s arms. Grace on the other hand, stands on the edge to jump, then sits down, then slides down to the little drain thing, turns over to her belly and then slides in. They are night and day different!

I can see such a difference from putting Grace in lessons at 4 and Owen in at 2! I am glad we didn’t wait so long with Owen.
