Carving Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins on Saturday.

These are our pumpkins. I got the three white ones on the last field trip with my class. The taller one on the left is on that Grace got on her field trip and the darker orange pumpkin is the one that Owen got on his field trip. The other three were from the garden of some of our friends.

They dove in. Owen does not like the feeling of pumpkin goo, Grace loves it. One of the surprises of our children:) Grace actually cleaned out all of hers and most of Owen’s.

This was the picture Grace drew of what she wanted her Jack-o-Lantern to look like.

Ha! I am proud to hear that Grace has grown to love the messiness that is pumpkin goo! I still have that picture of her the first time she stuck her hand in… and it wasn’t quite the happiest moment as I recall. 🙂
