Hiking at Proxy Falls

Last week Danny took a day off and we took the kids and the dog and went hiking in to Proxy Falls. My family used to hike here in the fall when I was a kid so it was fun to take my own kids hiking there.

On our way we stopped off at a place where there was some snow but it was COLD so we didn’t stay long.

Proxy Falls is at a lower elevation so not nearly as cold.

Grace led the way..

Daisy managed to both lead and follow most of the way

By the time we got back to the car we had two hungry kids

And Owen got to have Oreos for the first time…

oh, yum!

Hmmm… Oreos will be his new “drug” of choice, I take it? They are addictive…

Looks like you had fun. We need a trip like that…
