Chick Magnet

We took the chicks outside in the grass today so they could start getting used to the “big world.” I wasn’t sure how they would all do. Owen has been heading for the road when we are outside and I knew the cats would come around too.

It was pretty funny. The chicks kept getting on Owen. He loved it! He was pretty gentle with them but did try to pick them up by their heads.

Bob came around and investigated too. He and Treebie sniffed nose to beak.

All survived the experience.

And yes, the cat is bigger than the boy…

Hi, I just noticed a post of yours (from Oct 07 actually) on Preacher Mike’s blog mentioning you had a child with CDH. Friends of mine have a three-year-old son who was born with CDH…you may have been to the dad’s blog before…Joe Hays in Brooklyn. If not, please check it out. I’m sure their story would be an encouragement to you!
